Boulder, Colorado, is an amazing place to be a student, especially at CU Boulder. The university is nestled right at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Academically, CU Boulder offers a wide range of programs and opportunities for exploration. From cutting-edge research in fields like aerospace engineering and environmental science to dynamic classes in the humanities and social sciences, there's something for everyone. Plus, the faculty are top-notch and really invested in their students' success.
And let's not forget about the social scene! Boulder has a thriving arts and music scene, with plenty of concerts, galleries, and festivals to enjoy. And if you're into outdoor activities, well, you're in luck. Whether you're into hiking, biking, rock climbing, or just soaking up the sunshine, Boulder has it all.

CU Boulder can best be described as liberating. The teachers are intelligent and thoughtful. The academic are studious. House parties are procurable. The dorms are tenable. Those with the fortitude of mind to dedicate themself towards learning, will have ample time to engage in “social activities”. (wink)
I have complaints! Some of the students are deadbeats-smoking weed/vaping ect-Best to stay way. The gym at Will Vill is more a shack than a gym. APPM is a trick-not recommended. If your instate-look into cost per credit hour schedule. A blunder I made.
Overall, I am enjoying CU Boulder and would recommend. Im trying my hardest and so far it’s been a blast.

Rating 5 out of 5
I loved my time at CU Boulder. The campus and surrounding area are both beautiful, there is very easy access to hikes, camping, and nature in general. It has a good social scene with lots of bars and restaurants. The academics are great and there is lots of opportunity to get involved in research. It's not very diverse, although I do feel that the faculty and students embrace diversity. Housing is very expensive and can occasionally be difficult to find. Overall, I would 100% recommend CU Boulder to anyone, especially someone who is looking for a good balance of academics and social life.
