For that reason alone, this post is dedicated to the best restaurants in Park City that are actually worth your time and hard-earned money. We’ve done all the heavy lifting and provided 15 total recommendations with a handful in each category of affordable, mid-range, and fine dining options (see the restaurant footers for more details beneath each recommendation). Tips For Dining At The Best Restaurants in Park City

  • Make reservations. Park City has always been more reservation forward, but with the changes we’ve experience over the past year or two, they’re more important than ever. Call the restaurant or head to their website first, and if you don’t have any luck there, try popular reservation websites like Open Table or Resy.
  • Investigate the parking situation ahead of time. Some of the restaurants on this guide (especially the ones located in Kimball Junction) will give you no trouble at all, but for restaurants situated on Main (especially during peak season), the parking can be very challenging. See this map for public parking on historic main street.
  • Plan on spending a little bit more. As mentioned in an earlier paragraph, Park City restaurants are typically more spendy than neighboring Salt Lake City.

Chop Shop is new to the Park City restaurant scene, but it’s definitely worth a visit if you want one of the best sandwiches in Park City. They’re located in the Kimball Junction area, making them super accessible with lots of parking nearby. The Butler Dip is our favorite sando here, made with dry aged beef, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, and house au jus, all on sourdough.

Cortona Italian Cafe is one of the best Park City restaurants when you’re in the mood for Italian food served in a cozy, off-the-beaten-path setting. Open for dinner only, Cortona serves typical Italian fare from caprese to homemade pasta to traditional Italian entrees like chicken piccata or veal marsala.

Twisted Fern is a great spot for dinner or even a weekend lunch if you’re looking for something in the heart of Park City but not right in the bustle of Main Street. Situated just beside our favorite grocery store in Park City, The Market, Twisted Fern serves New American cuisine with a myriad of great appetizers, salads, hearty entrees, and even a kids menu. Nosh is a fairly new addition to the PC dining scene and it’s one of the best restaurants in Park City. The restaurant is casual, quaint, and easy to miss, but their fresh and flavorful Mediterranean cuisine is hard to forget. The Nosh platter is your move here, served with hummus, herbed falafel, spiced rice, roasted vegetables, pickled red cabbage slaw, toasted pita, and a myriad of delectable house made sauces.

Previously known as Riverhorse Provisions, our love for Saltbox runs deep. Coming from the same creators as Riverhorse on Main (you know it’s going to be good), this eatery and and catering kitchen is the perfect stop for a casual yet delicious breakfast or lunch in Park City. You can grab a bite to sit down and enjoy, take something for the road (shoutout to their family meal packs), or even have meals catered during your stay in Park City.

Although Salt Box serves both breakfast and lunch, this is one of our favorite Park City restaurants to start out the day. Menu favorites include their breakfast burrito, made with house-made sausage, cheddar, scrambled eggs, crispy polenta bites, and chipotle creme all on a Spanish tortilla. The potato egg sandwich is a fantastic classic breakfast sandwich, too. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, get the acai bowl, served with peanut & almond butter, granola, mango, banana, blackberries, and toasted coconut.

10. Grappa Italian Restaurant

When you talk to Park City locals about the best fine dining options in town, Grappa will inevitably be one of the first mentions. Founder Chef Bill White, a native of Traverse City, Michigan and world traveler opened Grappa (formerly operated as a bed and breakfast) in 1993. Today Bill White Enterprises encompasses seven restaurants, a bakery, one farm, and many more enterprises to come. We love the variety you can find on the menu at Grappa but our absolute favorite is the Bill White original, Osso Bucco– a lightly floured, slow braised veal shank, slowly cooked for up to 8 hours, served with creamy polenta, caramelized brussels sprouts, pancetta, rich red wine tomato jus, and a toasted pine nut gremolata.

Bartolo’s is one of our favorite Park City restaurants for great Italian food in an approachable, beautiful setting. The food at Bartolo’s is flavorful and always fresh, and it’s the perfect spot for any time of day as they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant is bright and modern, the service is friendly and fast, but most importantly the food is really delicious. We love that they’re located in Kimball Junction because, let’s face it, sometimes you don’t want to drive clear in the heck up to Main Street for good food.

Similar to many other Park City restaurants, Hearth and Hill is a family owned and ran operation, open in the Kimball Junction area for a few years now. Hearth and Hill has an eclectic menu with a variety of offerings from comfort food to Asian fusion to fresh and delicious salads. The menu is divided into different endearing sections including shareable, snackable, harvestable, feastable, and even spoonable. Our favorite salad on the menu is the avocado salad (add salmon).
